Purpose

God, You spoke my existence into my mother’s womb,
You meant for me a purpose, not an empty tomb.
Not a void, a grave or a barren drifting
But an intention, an objective, a certain meaning.
A life to live to your glory,
A chance to fulfill the unwritten story.
The story of me -
Who I am in You.
To give You glory, to sing Your praise
To tell of Your mercy and the cross that was raised.
Let me remember, that is my goal
That I live for your pleasure
It is what makes me whole.
A purpose, a confidence, an objective, a mission
To live in You and through You, a daily decision.

First and foremost, I would like to say that the I love the short poem that you wrote above. It proves that a poem does not need to be long; as long as you have an important message to deliver, you will surely feel the message of the poem! Life can always be different, but we have to choice on how to maneuver it instead. Everyone has a purpose. God will never give you challenges without any reason, so you must be happy that God believes in you because He knows that you can overcome it!
